GOAL – Go Out and Learn GOAL

About Go Out and Learn (GOAL)

Go Out and Learn (GOAL) is a free educational platform developed under project ROBG00276, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria 2021-2027 Programme. The Go Out and Learn platform offers online courses in painting, calligraphy and dance, in Romanian, English and Bulgarian. Beyond the project's implementation period, an e-learning platform remains an essential tool for education, training and professional development — here's why:

1. Accessibility and inclusivity

Overcoming geographical barriers

An e-learning platform allows learners from different locations, regions, or even countries to access educational content, overcoming geographical constraints. This is especially important for a cross-border project in remote or underserved areas.

Flexible learning schedules

E-learning enables students to learn at their own pace, accommodating those with different time commitments — such as professionals or parents — thereby making learning more inclusive.

Accessibility for diverse learners

An online platform can be designed to support learners with disabilities by incorporating features like screen readers, adjustable font sizes, and other assistive technologies.

A network for lifelong learning

All training will be uploaded to the platform and used to grow a network of people interested in lifelong learning, by developing the passions they care about.

The platform will allow learners from different locations, regions, or even countries to access educational content, overcoming geographical constraints.

The e-learning platform will be the supporting infrastructure that connects people across the region — encouraging them either to post training sessions and materials, or to follow the work of others.

A virtual space for the arts

The content of each course will be uploaded to the e-learning platform, so that it becomes accessible to every interested person.

Virtual e-learning platform: all training will be available on the platform. Moreover, it will allow artists to create, collaborate and showcase their work in virtual environments, providing immersive, interactive spaces for creative expression.

The e-Learning platform will make arts education accessible to people with disabilities through adaptive interfaces, voice commands, or tailored resources.

Aligned with the EU's Digital Education goals

The project's investment in an e-learning platform contributes to the goals of the Digital Education Action Plan by promoting access to digital tools and skills, particularly for disadvantaged groups such as older people in rural communities.

Improving digital uptake through the use of a specialised e-learning platform.
